Sticking to a Budget Thanksgivings Day
Appetizers or Snacks
Easy and Cheap Peanut butter cookies.
Ingredients:
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar (brown sugar's best but you can use white sugar)
1 egg
1 t-2 tablespoons of ground ginger
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
a little flout (to dust your hands with)
Mix all this together will be a little sticky, after you have all of the above mixed together, pinch off small pieces (about half-dollar size pieces) roll these pieces in your hands (that you have dusted with a little flour, this will help keep this mix from sticking to your hands). As you roll each piece into a ball, place it on an ungreased cookie sheet.
When the cookie sheet if full of these little peanut butter balls, take a fork and press down each ball so it is flat like a cookie, you can make a pattern by doing this at least twice in opposite directions.
Sweet Spicy fry bread.

*recommended spices ginger, cloves, cinnamon, allspice, a little bit of sugar, about 1/3 cup, add extra ginger to make very spicy
1/4 - 1/2 cup sugar

Begin heating cast iron pan on low heat, add enough cooking oil to cover bottom of pan. (you can use crisco or other shortening instead if desired)
