Another poem from March 2009 The Bi-Polar Mind

Looks like I wrote a lot back in March of 2009, this was a non-exclusive poem.

The Bi-Polar Mind

The Bi-Polar mind.
A mind that has been divided.

Once it was called schizophrenia.
Once diagnosed as a troubled souls' phobia.

Now the bi-polar mind.
Is it yours? Or is it mine?

Stand back, step aside.Open wide your arms.
Don't worry soon our divided mind will have turned on the charm.

A divided mind.
Two sides of you, two sides of me. No where to hide.

Up's and down.
Never knowing when it's safe to go to town.

I see you. You see me.
Funny how the face in the window pane, reflects you to me.

The Bi-Polar mind. Has drifted in, drifted out.
Some days everything is filled with sunshine, other days are made to pout.

Crying, laughing, the high's the lows.
How long will the mind be stable this day...who can know?

Split-personality, can it be true.
Is it me? or is it you?

The mind has divided.
There is no where to hide.

Someday we will walk together singleness of mind.
But today our mind it has been left behind.

Divided is the Bi-Polar mind.
Trying never to unwind.

Fearing which personality should be defined.
Who is it that share's the divided mind?

Is it you...or is it me?
Who will bring stablity to the divided mind? Who can it be?

A wind, a prayer forever we walk in doubleness of mind.
One hour we are a live, the next hour we wish to be left behind.

The day is real, the day is surreal.
The night who can know, the shadows linger laughing as we make yet another deal.

The Bi-Polar mind laughs as yet again the day is played as "hide & seek"
Laughing as when either side decide's it is time to speak...

Laughing, crying...
groaning, moaning who could be dying...

It is the divided mind.
Soon the time will come to unwind.

If by chance you see the divided mind has unwound...
do not be alarmed, for soon we will be found.

Stablity to the divided mind.
Comes when the demons have been left behind.

Promises broken.
How can that be for I have not spoken?

But how can I know?
For the divided mind has wandered yet again, this is so.

No words remembered for the mind has yet again left.
Leaving you, leaving me. Are you yet deaf?
The mind it has already left...

Ha,ha, ha...and the mind walks away...
There is nothing more to say.
