It's Been a Long Time

It's been a long time.
A long time since we talked in rhyme.

 

 

Once we had so much fun.
We'd walk, and talk, lay in the sun.

Making up songs and rhymes.
Oh, those were the days, those were the times.

How did the last one end?
Can you still remember, the tree just over the bend?

It's been a long time.
A long time since last we walked in rhyme.

Seems just yesterday you were here.
But now you are no where near.

 

 

So I dry one last tear.
As for the end now I hear...
