Time is Slipping Away

Muddy sidewalks, cluttered homes.
Sunday faces,so many places to roam.

Remembering you, when the days were new.
Missing you, have you no clue?

Rushed Monday mornings.
Too soon many's a mourning.

Tuesdays, long forgotten,
Promises never forgotten.

Lost are the prayer's of Wednesday.
Too soon forgotten, we have gone away.

Thursdays, return to the clutter of life.
Worry cut's through like a knife.

Frantic Fridays, we pray for...
Having feared the days would be no more.

Saturdays, finally here.
We wish another time it were here.

Seasons come, seasons go..
Walking through this world we roam, going to where? Who can know?

A moment in time.
Lost to the daily grind, there is no rhyme.

No rhyme, no reason.
It is the season.

A lost and dying world...
is twirling...

Soon the sun will lie dormant and cold.
For time it is growing old.

Now this time you have heard.
Have you today considered, all that is contained in "His Word"...

Redeem the time, while it is called day.
For soon we will all have gone away.

Will you still be here?
Or will you be with us over there?

The time has come, have you prepared for eternity.
Soon you'll have drank your last cup of tea.

Will you walk the shores by the crystal river?
Or has the though of dying made your heart to quiver?

You can be sure, you can know.
This is true, for the Bible has told us so.

Your destiny in this world does not lie.
Today, you walk through a lost and dying world, soon you will hear the last cry.

Today has come and gone.
Tomorrow we may never see. We walk on.

The present is the only time we have, to accept the "free gift" of the one who died.
Time will soon be no more, will you hold in your hand this "free gift" or will you be one of those who will cry?

Only you can know...
to where you will go.

The choice can not be made for you.
The price has been paid for you, this is true.
