Something Worth a Note
Reading the words, your mind tends to wonder.
Turning around you ponder.
Could the author's heart be broken.
Which words has the Writer's pen
spoken.Perhaps you should in the mirror glance.
This it may be your last chance...
The Writer you see has made a study of you.
The pain you read maybe true.
But if it is the pain of the Writer it has long since past.
Writing words, release memories, even of those who have read last.
Something worth a note,
Pain felt, happiness lived, may one day be worth a quote.
The tears of the author are kept at bay.
How? By making the words play.
Words, that play upon a page chase away yesterday's sorrows.
Words, that fall from the author's pen filled yesterdays tomorrows.
So when a note you see.
Remember to let the author be.
The Writer needs the space.
For too soon the words written will loose pace.
No more will the Writer run this race.
But for today, come what may. Leave the Writer's Pen.
For today is not the end.
