"Teardrops from the Heart", from March 2009

March is normally a hard month for me so maybe that is why I wrote so much in March of 2009.
Below is a direct link to where that I first published this poem.

Teardrops from the Heart

Stillwaters run deep.
Teardrops come from the heart that does weep.

Stillwaters run dry.

While the heart may cry...
the eyes of the brokenhearted remain dry.

Stillwaters run deep.
Stillwaters move through the night as you sleep.

Lost in time is the memory of you.
Time has take away your love this is true.

Who can know,
where the tears of the heart do go?

Lost in the silence of the night.
No one hears as the daylight fades into twilight.

Tomorrow has come and gone.
But still yet it is today, for all who have not gone on.

The winds of time stir the memory of the deep.
Soon the stillwaters will sleep.

Who can know when the hearts tears have run dry.
The teardrops of the eye's soon run dry.

The hearts tears are as a deep well.
When the broken hearts tears run dry, who can tell?

Tomorrow in silence the tears of the heart have dried.
And now the brokenhearted has died.

Stillwaters run deep.
The tears of the heart linger even while you sleep.

Frozen in time are the tears.
Painted faces cover the stains of the years.

Tomorrow is gone, and now it is today,
Soon the tears are to come your way.

For stillwaters run deep.
The tears of the heart flow even as you sleep.
