Have You Looked yet into the Flames

Silently the wind blows.
To where it goes there is only one who truly knows.

Softly the leaves float from the trees...
Swiftly flies the bumble bees...

Around and around the snowflakes float to the ground-
Silver sparkles not so much as when true love it is found.

Rubies and gold, pearls and diamonds of little worth in reality-
Sands of gemstones, sea of salt, dried mud, how can we be?

Tomorrow's lost, tomorrow's found, and soon another we'll see.
Today, will soon past, perhaps we'll walk over the glass, that covers the crystal sea.

Dusty roads forever will we forget.
Mud swamped roads washed away forever some will regret.

Happiness, contentment and bliss how can we ever know?
If with the Saviour we refuse to go.

Forever my friend, it is coming so fast.
Yet, still to this world why do you hold, can you not see it will never last?

This world my friend it will soon melt forever away.
How my dearest friend can you not see that we are ever near that day?

Promises made, truly my friend the promises of God will be kept.
Do not delay my friend for many will cry in vain from the depths.

Today, my dearest friend there is hope still yet for you.
But tomorrow when you sleep, there will be no hope forever more of skies so blue.

Forever my friend, forever my dearest friend, it is a very long time.
My dear there is but one, only one that will keep you from Heaven's gate, it is but one crime.

My dear the only crime that will keep you from a heavenly home-
It is the rejection of the Son, my dearest, will you forever roam?

Roaming first this world, next roaming, roaring and groaning through the fires of Hell-
My dearest, I've warned you once, I've warned you twice, what more can I tell?

Forever soon it is coming, the clouds will roll away.
My dearest, do you know not it is for the lost we must earnestly pray?

Dear Christian, how soon we turn away, how soon we give in.
Believing we've done our best, we turn away, as another soul the devil does win.

My dear Christian, it is not enough to tell.
It is not enough to tell another of Hell.

For many walk today in a worldly Hell, forsaken by many, knowing not which way to go.
Railing and wailing day to day, desiring a better way, but instead as lambs they are seated in the slaughter house row.

Seated evenly in rows, one behind the other, listening for hope, for something to hold to believe-
Yet, no one has time, for tied to this world we are, from beginning till we must by appointment take leave.

No time for you, no time for me, no time to see, no time to seek His will.
For you see my dearest we must forever seek after money to pay yet another ill conceived bill.

My friend when will we hear, when will we truly see a lost and dying world so many fast running a lost race.
Dear Christian friend, how can you hold fast to this world and still with the lost keep pace?

Run we must it is true, but my dearest friend, have we really ever seen their plight?
Have we so soon forgotten that this is a battle that we must all fight?

My dearest friend, have you looked into the eyes of the lost?
My dearest friend have you looked into the mirror, have you seen the cost?

Dear Christian friend someone for you prayed in earnest one day.
My dear Christian friend, for another you to have an obligation to pray-

But, you say, "another will, I must today hurry as I've a bill to pay, I must hurry for I have a bill."
Truly my friend is it any wonder that many have fallen fast ill?

Seeking after the world, trusting in our own wisdom, we've lost our place.
Yes, dear Christian we've won our race, but my dear Christian, have you looked into the flames, and seen the lost soul's face?

The flames dance high, the flames dance wide.
Because my dearest Christian friend, too many of us have ran home to hide.

Safe and secure we are.
But we've forgotten there are still many who are still walking afar.

Walking so far from God, lost and undone-
Not even knowing it is a race that was already won.

A race we run, soon to eternity we'll forever walk.
But my dearest friend, if none you win, how will you with Him talk?

He died for you and for me, and all that are lost.
Yet, for granted we've accepted what came at greatest of cost.

He died, paying all the cost.
Yet, we still in silence we walk, as into the flames drop yet another that is lost.

Silently we walk, justified, and sanctified holding our up so high.
Forgetting that our Saviour died for all far and wide-

Prideful and ignorant we've become, as we've fast forgotten where once our steps fell.
How my friend, will we talk in Heaven of His love, when we see the faces of those we failed to tell?

My dearest words are meaningless, words are plentiful and bountiful, and this it is true.
But my dearest Christian friend, if your words will have power you must live your life each day knowing that He paid for you all that was due.

Words are never so powerful as when they are made alive.
My dearest friend, if you desire to talk in Heaven, today you must come out of your hive.

My dearest if your life does not reflect His love, your words are as empty spaces.
Look all around my dearest for many today you see will in flames soon claim their places.
