http://voices.yahoo.com/faith-as-mustard-seed-5813602.html?cat=10 Faith as a Mustard Seed My faith though small as a mustard seed I seek His ever loving hand. Knowing it is He who in my place will stand. Holding tight to what I know is true; I've placed all my trust in the one who is able. Holding fast to my faith, I turn away as other's do scorn and mock. Plead my cause, my heart does cry, even as I bow before the solid rock. Help me, as those who've come out against me are mighty and strong. Help me, as you've already paid for all my wrong. Shield me, cover me, with thy scarlet blood, blind those who devise and evil plan. Blind them, bind them turn them backwards, fast deliver out of their outstretched hand. Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is not yet, today it may be long, how can I know? Forever soon I'll go. The race it is nearly done, my heart beats fast within me, my side growls, my legs tremble and are weak. Endurance, failing me, yet, continue I, as I know who will soon speak. Soon the Eastern sky it will open wide. Many will fall having been taken by their own pride. Believing a lie, into the Lake of Fire, they will be cast. Little children do you not know, this battle it is the Last? Soon time will be no more. Pray, encourage and run for many have never walked through the only true door. One way, and only one, the path is sown in blood, from the foundation of the world was He slain. Hold the light, hold it steady for fast comes the night, the candle that has begun to wain. The night is fast coming, when none can work, soon it will be time to go. Have you for other's truly prayed, knowing full well to where the unsaved will one day go...? Faith as a mustard seed, little it may be, yet it is all that is needed to enter in. Faith planted in fertile soil will lead many away from sin. The wages of sin, it is death, yet so carelessly we look away. Forgetting to remember for another we must pray. The night it will soon turn to day. For who will you pray? |
