Do You Really Want a Flat-Belly?





Would you like to have a flat-belly? Well yes, of course most people would like to have a nice trim flat belly.



However, how to get this nice trim flat belly, would you like to know, seriously? Ok, I've got bad news first. The bad news is it's not going to be easy especially if you've sported a pot-belly for a while. It's a lot easier to not get a pot-belly than to get rid of one.



However, if you have neglected your health, and acquired the famous pot-belly, you will need to work a little harder than average to get rid of it. Depending on how long you've sported this pot-belly you may find it takes a little longer.



So without further a ramble, we will discuss how to lose the pot-belly. First you will need to stop drinking carbonated drinks of any kind. This includes sodas, beer, or anything that is carbonated.
The carbonated drinks have little to no nutritional benefit for your body, and the long term side effects are not pleasant.



For example even if you do not consume beer, you will in time develop a "beer belly" if you consume lots of carbonated drinks, unless you are able to exercise like crazy every single day, you will in time find yourself with a belly that gets rounder and rounder. Not exactly something that is very flattering to anyone.



Also a pot belly will make it harder to find clothes that look nice.
Besides getting rid of the soda's, beer, or any other carbonated drinks, you will also want to cut down on sugar products. Sugar products combined with yeast products will in time create a lot of extra fat for you.



An example of a combination that will help you to gain a lot of weight is a regular diet of sweet rolls, soda's, dinner rolls, and large servings of rice or pasta.



If you must eat pasta, dinner rolls, or rice. Make sure that you only eat a very small portion. Also forgo the soda or beer as often as possible. Instead have a nice large glass of ice water.



Portion sizes will go a long way in helping you to lose weight, and also to flatten your belly. However, just cutting back on portion sizes, and drinking more water will most likely not be enough to insure that you get the flat belly that you desire.



To get the flat belly that you covet, you will need to put a lot of effort into it. Not just with dieting, but with exercise. Now don't worry the stomach crunches that you did back in school, are most likely not what you will need to start out with.



Instead you need to start out with walking, a lot of walking. Find a track near you or if you live in a safe neighborhood, with plenty of sidewalks, make time for walking.



The time you may have been spending watching TV or relaxing before or after work, may be the time you have to use for walking. You will need to plan to go walking every day.



So after you've planned out your daily menu, which should include lots of vegetables, lean meats, fish, plenty of water, and a little fruit, you need to make out a walking schedule.



The more you walk the more you will tone up. Walk as if you are in a hurry even if you are not. If you are really bad out of shape, you can begin, by just walking fast within your normal activities; also hold your belly in as much as possible.



Cutting back on sugary foods, and also on carbonated drinks, and on foods that contain yeast, will help you to begin losing pounds. Adding more water and brisk walking to your day, will help you to tone up, as you tone up, from walking, you will find that you have more energy.



As your energy increases you will begin to feel better. Especially if the daily walks are in a pleasant area, either outside or someplace you like to go. Maybe inside a mall, you don't have to go shopping every time you go to the mall, you can just walk the halls. Taking breaks every now and then to window shop.



It will take a min. of about a year to see any noticeable change in your appearance, however, if you continue the plan above you will start seeing changes. You will also start feeling better, and you will in time see that round pot-belly fade away.



Also after a while, you will be ready to begin adding crunches, jumping jacks, stretches, jump rope and other exercises. These will all work together to bring you a slimmer more attractive appearance. However this will take time.



If you really would like to have a flat belly, and a nice figure it will take a concentrate effort on your part. It will also take time; it will however be worth the effort.



Try to not be discouraged, because as you work towards your goal you will reap the benefits of a healthier more flexible body, and in time you will be find the flat belly you'd like to have. It will not happen overnight, however remember that you did not get the pot-belly overnight, and it will not come off overnight.



You can do it, just don't give up. You'll be thankful that you stayed with the program, when you see the improvement in your health, an attitude and general outlook on life.
