Earth Day Poem
Today, the sun shone brightly casting out yesterday's dreary shadows.
Yesterday, grey clouds filled the skies, wind and rain lathered up the grounds.
You see the rain, and the wind, is how the forest and fields are washed.
Spring is here, and everything must shine.
Baby birds are singing, butterflies are beginning to fly.
The air is warming a little more each day, soon little children will run outside to play.
The winds are blowing, brushing away, winters cold fingers.
Soon May flowers will sprout a pretty bloom for every child to pick for Mother's Day.
Time spins in a circle, as earth to spins, revealing hidden treasures for many to find.
Every day is a special day to be alive, to be kind, to be considerate, and to celebrate life.
Earth day, is just one day set aside for us all to remember we are blessed to live today.
Celebrate Earth day, by planting trees, plants, and kind deeds, and encouraging words.
