When Redecorating Look for Quality
Ok, so now perhaps you're getting tired of reading about redoing your toddler's bedrooms. I mean enough is enough already. Not to mention your child is growing up fast. Also according to your calculations you've not yet mastered the unlimited spending budget for all of your wants and desires.
I mean seriously your doing well to just have everything clean and reasonably neat, forget designer toddler bedrooms. But you would like for your toddler to at least have a room that looks nice.
That is functional, and you'd like to not have to replace your child's furniture repeatedly, over the years. Especially as well made furniture is not cheap, but well made quality furniture that is made to last is worth the expense.
So what you want to do, if at all possible is to keep your eyes open for the best made furniture that you can find. Save a little back each week, or however often you can. Sell any old cheap furniture that you may have collected, because you will not need to keep that, especially after you've acquire a few pieces of good furniture. That is built to last.
Never swap quality for cheaply put together if at all possible. Because it will just cost you more money in the long run and it does not wear well.
You may or may not have to spend a lot to find quality furniture, sometimes you can find things at auction, or yard sales, estate sales, or maybe you have a relative who is downsizing who has a few pieces they will either give to you or sell to you at a reasonable price, within your budget.
The main thing is quality; if you are able to find and keep quality made furniture one day you may be able to add accessories to it. Also if you are a crafty you may be able to redo your child's room or any room with just a few new pillows, paintings, crochet or knit items, etc. You do not always need to do a major overhaul to make a room look like it's been redone.
Sometimes we just can't do all we may want to do. So don't worry if you cannot make a designer room for your little darling, this Christmas season.
Because maybe next year will be better, or maybe the next, but if not don't worry because clean, neat and orderly works when nothing else can be done.
Remember though, to always choose quality, and to look for American made, if you do that maybe we'll see an improvement in our economy, perhaps, new jobs will be created.
Manufacturing jobs that will help keep families off the street. It's a lot easier to decorate and design your darling child's room when you have a home to live in than when you've got to stay in a shelter with a whole bunch of other people. Who may not all agree with your choices for decorating a shared room, so be thankful for what you have. But always look for the best of the best, and save back some cash for the best. Because if you keep maxing out those credit cards every time you think up a new theme or design for your child's room, you'll start having financial difficulties that will turn you into a grouch.
