Don't Worry Laugh You've an Unexpected Friend
Hot cross buns, one a penny, two a penny-
Hot cross buns, have you any?
One a penny, two a penny, who holds the silver, who holds the gold-
Laughter it is the best medicine it's been foretold.
Bill collectors coming from all directions smile and say "How do you do?"
Laugh when collections say your bill it is due.
Laugh because you knew; laugh because you've been trying.
Laugh because there's no gold in your veins; laugh because silver teardrops never come from crying.
Listen as the bill collector states you must pay.
Listen carefully, as your collector explains in lengthy and great detail your fate today.
Turn aside and laugh till the tears begin to slide.
Laugh because you know what the collector does not; laugh because you're not trying to hide.
Oh me, oh my, laughter truly is the best medication, use it well for edification.
Laugh long, laugh hard, and laugh when the collector assumes you've not contemplated your situation.
You'll win my friend if you linger to laugh a while.
Your health it's soon to improve if you'll just remember to laugh, and smile.
Listen carefully as the bill collector begins again, however, don't worry, and don't stress.
Stressing never pays off, stress soon leads to another unpaid bill, so let the collections rattle, know soon to they will rest.
Remember carefully each and every debt.
List them carefully; keep track of them individually without dread.
Set aside a little as you can, pay the immediate need.
Then my dear friend you may smile as each debt you begin to weed.
Laugh again as the bill collectors predict the direst of conditions for you'"
Smile because those conditions long past came true'"
Your credit rating long since not so great.
Debt so heavy, burdensome it is true, yet if only you'd learned a little sooner to laugh, life would have been first rate.
Stress early on took its toll-
Laugh now my friend or never will any bill you pay, in debt forever will you stroll.
You see my dear friend I've news for you.
If a bill you have due, pay it fully as soon as due.
If not you'll soon be welcoming a stressful individual into your home.
An individual perhaps you'll soon wish would away from you roam.
Laugh my dear friend because if a bill collector becomes your new companion.
Laugh because your new friend will call you morning, noon, and nights, without fail, listen on --
Laugh because your new friend will never forget to call.
Laugh because your new friend has unrealistic expectations of you most of all.
Smile and laugh at how each and every collector bangs on your door.
Laugh harder because you know, to get well, you'll need to laugh a little more --
To get well you must laugh, laugh till the tears come; laugh till the pollution is shook from your body.
Laugh, laugh, and laugh some more, as your debt collector tells you again your story.
Laugh you must because my dear friend, no one else really cares if you live or die, saving your bill collector alone.
Wishing you to pay, he'll hound you night and day, he'll call, he'll send letters, and he'll show up at your grave stone.
