Have You Ever Wondered Why???
Sometimes I Count Potatoes..,


One potato, two potato, three potato, or...
Counting potatoes, trying to count until the bad flashes go away-
One potato, two potato, three potato, or...



Walking, walking, walking
Trying to forget, pushing for a better way.
One potato, two potato, three potato, or...



Memories flash by unheeded, unneeded.
Red light, yellow light, green light go, Counting potatoes it is needed.
One potato, two potato, three potato, or...



Red light, yellow light, green light go...
Peeling potatoes does not help so's you know...
One potato, two potato, three potato, or...


Running away from a memory, I'll count one for you, one for me.
Count one, count two, count three, soon this will pass...
One potato, two potato, three potato, or...



Fading faster, a memory is soon lost to counting potatoes...
One for you, one for me, two to forget...
One potato, two potato, three potato, or...



Count a little faster, bad memories need to go away.
One for you, one for me, two to forget, and three we have forgotten already.

Soon we'll close that door.

Potato peelings cast out, potato peelings forgotten.
Bad memories gone away, as we move on in this life...
