Anything is Possible


Have You Set Your Mind To It?


One day, a little child said, I wish to be free.


This was in the days of slavery you see.


Soon a reply the child would hear.


"Have you set, your mind to it"?


In wonder the child did reply...


But how, with my owner I must comply.


Yes, 'tis true, but my child, if you want to be free, you'll have to use your wit.


You'll have to decide, "to set your mind to it".


So the mind of the child was set.


Today, that child is free, you know the rest.


One day, a young man says, "A wife, 'tis my hearts desire, as I'd like to live just a bit."


Soon an answer is heard, "Have you set your mind to it?"


Soon this young man will follow this advice, for all his life.


Because he will have found himself a wife.


Have you a goal, some worth pursuit?


Are you willing to set your mind too?


Commit yourself to reach your latest goal.


Perhaps because of you others will not toil.


Perhaps because of you others will reach their goal.


Your commitment will become another's motivation.


So don't give up, someone's counting on you.


Perhaps your influence will change someone's world today.


Perhaps your influence will help another to not stray, away.
