The Economy
It is Not so Good.

Balancing the budget, is the rally cry,
Someone should, someone must try.

But who?

Frugal living, it is in style,
Too bad, we'll never buy that tile.

The economy, it is sinking low.
This we know, for the media has told us so.

If by some neglect we've not heard the news,
-our paycheck will have us singing the blues.

Some say the economy it has to improve.
But the mortgage holder says, "You'll have to move."

But that's okay, cause your job left yesterday.
The repo man is coming for your car, today.

But you know, you can trust the government to make a way.
A stimulus check it's headed your way.

But you'll find you have to pay!

Someone's got a plan.
The government has a plan, soon we'll all be collecting cans.

We'll all run to the scrap metal place.
Looking to cash in our cans,it'll be a race.

But no one's buying our cans any more.
So we'll all have to walk to the governments door.

Walking cause our cars are all gone, walking cause we have no money.
Have no money, cause the government's plan was a bunch of boloney.

The economy has sent our jobs to other lands.
Soon we will all hold out our hand.

Soon the government will have to feed us all.
Perhaps our leaders should take a walk down the hall.

Perhaps an economic rally.
-perhaps a cup of tea.

We trusted the government, to tell us what to do.
The government said to pay your taxes, this is true.

Under penalty of law we handed over our money.
Now it is not even funny.

Our bills we can not pay,
Our jobs have gone away,

Our homes are in decay,
And now we have no say.

Because we trusted the government to spend our money.
Another "Tea Party" it is needed, honey.
