Redecorating
A fresh coat of paint?
Could it possibly cover the stain?
Running away, could it help restore.
Could we need just a little more.
Changing a little color, here and there.
Trading things that are showing too much wear.
A new place. A change of pace.
Who's going to come see our new space?
Redecorating, hasn't changed much of anything.
We thought it was, too soon, we heard a bell ring.
Our time was up. Redecorating, it has it's place.
But still the mirror reflects your face.
Redecorating, truly it's a silly thing to do.
Especially when bills are all due.
