My Dear I'm Waiting for You



My dear I'm waiting for you.
My schedule it was full, but time for me came calling this is true.



But don't be blue, cause I'm waiting for you.
I've much to tell you, I've much to show you.



I've wandered far, and wide, but still every day, I wait for you.
Waiting for you, I linger near the gates each day, watching the faces, hoping to see you.



Time for me called so swiftly, before you were ready this I know is true.
But don't worry, cause my schedule it is ever full, and one day I expect to see you.



It was only yesterday we were making plans.
But my days were shortened and now I'm walking in other lands.



But don't worry, for I walk on the streets that are gold.
My death it was planned you see, it was on His schedule, an appointment that cannot be missed, cannot be placed on hold.



Appointments here you may have, appointments you linger and forget.
But there is one appointment we all keep, so make sure you're ready or you'll ever in flames regret.
