How to Surprise Your Sweetheart on Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day is coming and you are already wondering what you are going to do. Christmas is just barely over, and your credit cards are all used up. And you have decided that this is the year for you to finally become debt free, so using the credit cards or creating more debt is not in your plans.
So what are you planning?
Maybe you are married and have not really thought too much about it, after all you are married, and why should you show your spouse and extra attention on this day? Why spend more money?
Well you don't have to spend any extra money, but there are some things that you can do. Arrange to have a little quiet time with just you and your spouse, (if you have children you may have to include them or wait until they are asleep)
But you can make the day or evening special. A little time and commitment is all it takes.
Remember the candles you had put back? Well get these out, next find your best tablecloth, and set the table with your best dishes. Or whatever you happen to have.
Turn on your radio or CD player to some music that you both like. Then get showered and dressed up just as you would if you were going somewhere special for the evening. For dinner instead of cooking a large meal, heat up a couple of South Beach Dinners, and have side salad to go with it.
Then have something to drink to go with this, perhaps a nice grape juice (this is cheaper than wine, and taste better than water)
So what you can do is to have a nice romantic dinner, then you can take a stroll around the neighborhood or even do some window shopping at the mall. After you have eaten and taken your walk, you can come back in, and either spend some time playing cards and talking like you used to do back when you were dating, or you can find an old favorite movie and watch it while eating popcorn.
Remember to tell each other you love each other.
Be creative, and enjoy your Valentine, on Valentine's Day. Make memories that will last a life time.
And don't go into debt to make your Valentine feel special, your Valentine will feel a lot more special if treated with love everyday, instead only on special occasions.
