Remember the White Dove
Are We Wallking in His Footsteps?
Soon we will walk away.
We'll walk for you; we'll walk into a new day.
Walking we may stumble, fall we may.
But with much dedication, we'll try once again, for us you should pray.
Some days we feel like leaving.
Yet we know we must be walking.
One step in front of the other, we know not when we'll be leaving.
One step, two step, we walk for you, praying one day you'll a gift be receiving.
Praying we walk, walking we pray.
Yesterday was too late, today is nearly spent, and tomorrow we can't stay.
Walking we'll pray, praying we'll walk, following steps that lead the way.
An example so pure, yet so true, a heart that has never once led another astray-
Loving us first he carried our heavy burden, paying in full our debt.
Our bondage and heavy debt he paid, even as we slept.
Paying in full, what we could not. A gift he gave to us, to not accept it is quite inept.
Trusting in self, many tears one day in Hell will be wept.
Paying our debt to sin, he opened Heaven for all who would accept.
Yet many have never over another's soul wept.
Holding fast are others to an unforgiveable debt.
Our debt it has been paid in full, how can one not accept?
A call to go was his last words, tell everyone of my love.
Accepting some may, yet why have they forgotten the Dove.
Obedient to the Father was He, yet we wait for another to tell the lost of His love.
Tears fall from Heaven, because we forget so soon to tell another of His love...
