Will We in Heaven Talk of Cleaning Rags
Time to get up, sit a little while, now it's time again for bed...
One day's pretty much like another, get up, look around, see what's to be done.

Satisfaction gained when all's in its place.
Walking around the house we check over once and again.
Everything done, we sit down awhile.
No company comes as our friends have spread far and wide.
Those close by too busy with their own lives.
Seems everyone's too busy even to say hi.
I suppose everyone's got much more to do than I.
If I chance to call anyone, seems like they are in a hurry to go.
All except one friend I have who's not able to come visit every often.
Living too far to walk on over, lives so busy exhausting really.
To visit, to call to share the burdens of life we're all too busy.
But really I think if we'd but take a little time.
We could share the loads of this life, making all our days a little more encouraging.
Perhaps there is someone I'll call after awhile.
The house is clean, the house it may be a little cluttered, perhaps a little dirty.
But really the things we hold so tight will soon from us take flight.
Our friends so often taken for granted, will be the one's we'll want to see in Heaven.
It's not the cleaning rags, and time clock we'll be wishing to cling too.
I wonder if when we get to Heaven, we'll talk of our days spent cleaning, working and organizing.
Or will we chance to talk of the day's we visited one another, will we chance to talk of the times we shared.
Or instead will we look at each other and discuss how the mop did ring.
Will we of cleaning rags sing?
I think I must go now, for my boys have grown once again.
A new size of pants to match the new size of shoes, oh, my...where has the time gone....
