Assumptions....written in 2010

This was written mostly for my extended family, who tend to believe many things that are just not true, who also tend to jump to conclusions based on limited information, or assumptions based on their own circumstances.

It is also written in a way for myself because while I know my own personal circumstances and ability, others really don't, so I too may very well be guilty of assuming things that are less than accurate.

Never taking time to search for a reason, thoughts assumed, reality not known,



You've not called, I assume you don't care.
I've not called; you assume I've not tried, that I don't care.



You don't know the phone is not working. Believing it's my lie.
I don't know you've called. Believing you won't even try.



Hurt we walk away, think we know.
Never taking time to really know...
