Seeing the destruction the hopelessness of it all, we know to walk through the sands. So much to do, no way to go, not knowing how, we grieve. No worldly hope, no worldly treasure, no money shall we receive. Expectations, dire needs Past and present covered in many weeds. Searching for a way, looking for a way out- Turning all around we know never for help to shout. No one to turn to, no one to care- Struggling to believe, trusting only Him once again, do we dare? Silence it is golden, Kindness has been stolen. A friend we were it's true, Forsaken at times, we are as you. Wealthy you are. Family and friends, they all drive a fancy car. Seeing our need, you quickly turn aside. Believing with the devils we did ride. Forgetting we helped you when you were frightened, with a serious plight. Turning your backs, soon we'll wander out into the night. Holding His hand we know we'll be okay. He'll guide us over all the boulders along life's way. When once again we see your need, we'll remember it was His grace. We'll help you once again, seeing only His face. Holding hands we'll walk steady. Laughing we'll be ready. |
