Have You Any Room? A poem from 2009

Have You Any Room?

Have you any room in your heart left for me?
Is there yet a little room for me?

Walking away, is easy to do it is true.
Talking to you, how to do, I have no clue.

The door to your heart bleeding and broken.
Has your broken heart yet spoken?

Yesterday's gone.
For tomorrow you long.

But it is today, the heart is broken and forlorn.
Have you no more room?

Have scars so filled your heart, that all alone it waits but for the tomb.
Scarred and broken, the closed heart how can it mend.

Where my friend have you lay the key, to your heart's door. Won't you let anyone in?
Yesterday's are past.

Tomorrow's will not last.
But a moment and this day too will pass.

Have you any room?
Someone wants in the room.

Have your heart you barred?
Have you forgotten love when love was not scarred?

The broken heart, it was yours from the start.
The broken heart, it may depart.

Love the broken heart can mend.
Won't you open the door, before the end.
