A poem to make you think. I wrote this in March 2009.

Orange Blossoms

Oranges are so pretty,
Oranges are so sweet,

Orange blossoms so pretty.
Oranges, oranges...

Love so tender.
Who was the sender?

"Twas the one
-that has won.

Blossoms so sweet
Need we repeat?

It was for you.
His love so true.

See His beauty.
See His love so divine.

Soon 'twill be harvest time.
Orange blossoms remind...
Paid are your crimes.

If only you will accept the free gift.
That the saviour has left.

Every day you wait-
at risk is your eternal fate.

See the blossoms falling from the tree's.
The saviour's calling for you and for me.

Have you yet accepted Him?

See the orange blossoms, so pretty,
orange blossoms so sweet.

Love so tender crucified upon a tree.
Dying for you, and for me.

Orange blossoms remind us, of a love so deep,
a love so strong, of a saviour who did weep.

Of a Saviour who died, paying the ransom of our souls.
Now it is up to you to accept his toils.

Paid are your crimes.
The orange blossoms remind.
