Love



Looking into your eyes, I can see the reflection of your heart.

Opening wide your arms, I run into your arms, knowing we'll never part.

The day is long spent.

The night will soon be forgotten.

 

 

 

Walking hand in hand.

Through the many trials of this life we have managed to stand.

 

 

 

Holding fast all that we had.

We have loved and found all is not sad.

 

 

 

The bitter things of this life are bearable only because you hold my hand.

Taking the bittersweet, is not so bad when by my side you stand.

 

 

 

When alone I lie.

There is no need to cry.

 

 

 

Because I have seen the reflections of your heart in your eyes.

There are no tears to dry.


Love abounds.
Promises made soon will be found.

 

 

 

 

Love soon will begin anew.

It is for you, it is true.

 

 

 

Now kiss me my dear.

For it is only for you, that my hearts door has opened clear.

 

 

 

Cleared of the clutter.

There is no need to mutter.

 

 

 

True love has cleaned out the memory of lost loves of old.

Now you have been told.

 

 

 

I love you,

and this is true.
