Vacation's
Sometimes We Really Just Need a Day Away...
Vacation if you must.
Sometimes you really need to plan to get away. If that is the case then there
are some things that you should know.
Thing about what it is that would be to you the most relaxing things to do. If you haven't a clue, then perhaps talk to your family see if they may have any plans.
Look at your budget. Are your household bills all current or are the bills all on hold.
If your income is uncertain, and your bills on hold you may want to really wait until a later time. But if you feel your sanity is at sake then maybe you should really take a little vacation even if it is but for a day.
If you have looked in vain for some place of interest in your own home town then maybe it is to a nearby town you should go.
The price of gas would be low, if you travel to a destination that is within a hundred miles or so. Instead of taking a trip that will require a plane, boat or passport.
A simple way to find a place to go, is to get a map of your state or area, and draw a circle on that map that will cover no more than a hundred miles at most. Then hang the map on the wall, put on a blindfold, then throw a dart at the map. Wherever the dart lands that is where you go.
Think about it this could be fun.
Once you have your destination found, find a computer that has internet connection. Then look up everything you can on that town. Most towns have some history of some kind that may be of interest to some.
Many towns have a festival or two or more each year.
Maybe you had not thought of going to the next event in your town, but maybe another town will bring just the change of pace that you need.
Make it a day, if you don't have lots of money to spend. Even a little time away can be fun.
Just remember to clean the house nice and neat before you leave. Because coming home from any vacation is not fun if you have a big mess to clean.
So clean up before you go, leave early, before anyone has time to make a mess.
The time away will be enjoyed much more if you know when you get back you can really rest.
Remember to have a frozen dinner waiting in the freezer. That can be popped into the oven as everyone unpacks, then a new movie or book, for everyone after supper; can make for a very relaxing weekend, after a full day away.
