Last Time I Saw You
Memories Past

Last time I saw you,
Our love it was young, it was true.

 

Standing outside in the rain.
Neither you nor I could see the coming strain.

 

 

 

Kissing, hugging, laughing we said goodby.
There was no reason to cry.

Our last kiss.
How could we miss...

Life was fun and bright.
Who could know the coming fright.

Oh, yesterday,
seems it was just today.

But life has a way of causing love to depart.
Love was strong, love was true, this we knew from the start.
We would never part...

Yes, the last time I saw you
Our love it was true.

All of life was sunny and bright.
Now,love is lost in the darkness of the night.



Life from you that was day was stolen.
Now all memories of you are golden.

Our last kiss,
Forever hidden in the mist...

Time, and distance did separate you and I.
Our love it did not die.

Lost forever in time.
Our last kiss, we were but sixteen, love songs we did rhyme.

So far away now.
I wonder about you still somehow...
